Jack the Vampire Elf

I purchased this tonight from "Jack in the Crack" as we call it here. Although it's not Christmas yet, it was for a good cause. The elf cost $1.00 with the proceeds going to charity (I forgot which one.. the Boys & Girls Club maybe?)
Any way, I thought I would represent us Creepers.

"Bread Dead"

So my mind has been all over the place today... I guess it's due to Mondayitis or the fact that I am "bread dead". Bread dead is when you are so tired that you confuse the words brain and bread and it's totally accepted by your peers as a legitimate statement.

Spellbinder 1988 Review

Video is suggestive, but nothing you wouldn't see

 on today's  programming.

I give it:

Tim Daly and Kelly Preston costar in this magical drama about

a young lawyer who falls in love with a woman named Miranda.

But Miranda has a secret…

I don’t want to give too many spoilers so I am going to keep it to a

minimum. But I will say this movie is great. I love the plot and the

characters. The movie ends in a direction very unexpected and

doesn’t end with a “happily ever after” good-feeling. Normally

I love happy endings, but love doesn’t always end up with a

walk down the aisle.

Anyway, watch it and let me know what you think.

Spose's "I'm Awesome" - it cheered me up today on the way home.

And the video is hilarious... Love the Snuggie part.

The fact that it is now COMPLETELY dark outside by 6 p.m.

Zombie Hand #Dos

I wanted to make one more zombie hand for the cemetery sign (that I've already added to an earlier post). I still followed the basic instructions from Mizerella's site but I modified a bit.

Using the pen method



I added various pieces of what-nots to the fingers.
This added a bit of width w/out me having to wrap them 100x
with masking tape. In this pic I used those bread-tie things.



This is my hand all "masked-up". I made one of his fingers small
so that it would look like a missing digit. I also did not tape up some of the bottom.
 Leaving a bit of clothes hanger wire hanging out makes it a lot easier to put that bad boy in the ground.

I then used some paper mach'e. I painted it (I mixed cream & yellow).

My tape was unraveling very quickly!

I also added some blood onto the hand.

I then painted on some green to add even more dimension.

And squirted some more fake blood on it.

Placed it in front of my cemetery sign.

AHHH!

 and I finished my 2nd spell book.

Here is one of the completed coffins. I just paper mache'd and painted.

I painted it black and then just added some gray to give it a little more interest.

I also added a gargoyle head. It came off of a tombstone that my lovely " fur children" ate.
