On the Fifth Day of Creepmas

My kiddos received some coal from:

Krampus

On the eve of St. Nicholas’s Day, Austrians celebrate the Krampuslauf (Krampus Run). The Krampus, represented by costumed revelers, is usually depicted as a dark,cloven-hooved beast covered with hair, red horns on his head, a malicious mouth, chains and a switch. He visits the children on Santa's Naughty List.

Children are invited to throw snowballs at the Krampus.

(here is one of the naughty children..)

  1. What is it with Cats and Christmas trees?
I love Krampus. He's my new Christmas hero!

  2. After our disaster with Skelly and the Creepmus tree (attacked by a very bad kitty) we devised a cat warning system for the large Christmas tree by hanging bells around the very bottom. They jingle loud enough to alert us to any of our felines who venture beneath the tree. Works great! Maybe I need an automated Krampus guy to fire snowballs at them when they approach the tree;)

  4. @LADY M. - I am not sure, but she loves it. I think she likes it even more due to the fact that it highly irritates me. haha!

@MG - That's a really good idea! I may have to "borrow" it.

@wicKED - Same here.. our other 3 kiddos are just as bad as Asmara.
